About me
I’m Steve, a running coach who believes the miles we run are about much more than fitness. They’re about growth, resilience, discovering yourself and what you’re truly capable of.

Youth Coaching
Youth coaching is one of my passions. It’s sometimes hard, most of the time it’s good fun.
Athletics has a culture that teaches strength and resilience in a supportive atmosphere. Kids that participate in athletics in a club atmosphere will grow stronger whilst still being able to support others that they compete against. It is the reason I volunteer my time to help with youth coaching at TeamBR, partially as a Dad, and partially because I strongly believe that kids should have access to athletics in our local area.
Club Coaching
Being the lead coach at TeamBR really helps me stay focused and humble, I’m always learning something!
Being part of the club is great to be able to instill my principles into the ethos of the club. We are all part of each other’s success and I feel a great sense of belonging in the club.

Analysis of your body to provide an understand of areas that have need of improvement and what strength exercises to help

Strength plans that fit in with your endurance sport and plan that will help and not hinder
Lactate Testing
Understand your lactate threshold to be able to adjust your training
